Alex Kovalev got his milestone 1,000th point when he scored on a power play midway through the first period and assisted on Jason Spezza's go-ahead goal in the third for his 1,001st point to send the Senators to a 3-2 win over the Kings on Monday night, as reported by ESPN.com.

Nash, Liles, Rafalski Named 'Three Stars'

Blue Jackets left wing Rick Nash, Avalanche defenseman John-Michael Liles and Red Wings defenseman Brian Rafalski have been named the NHL 'Three Stars' for the week ending Nov. 21. Nash led all goal-scorers last week with six, including a pair of game-winners, as the Blue Jackets (12-6-0) swept a three-game trip through California for the first time in franchise history. Liles tallied seven points (two goals, five assists) and a +5 rating last week, helping the Avalanche (12-7-1) post four consecutive victories and take the Northwest Division lead. Rafalski notched seven assists in three games as the Red Wings (13-3-2) earned five of six points, closed their six-game homestand with a 5-0-1 mark and moved into first place in the Western Conference standings.

Torres, Garon, Halak Named NHL 'Three Stars'

Canucks left wing Raffi Torres, Blue Jackets goaltender Mathieu Garon and Blues goaltender Jaroslav Halak have been named the NHL's 'Three Stars' for the week ending Nov. 7. Torres led the NHL in goals (five) and was second in points (six) for the week as the Canucks (8-3-2) recorded four victories to take over first place in the Northwest Division. Garon stopped 75 of 78 shots he faced, posting back-to-back shutouts, a 2-1-0 record, a 1.01 goals-against average and .962 save percentage as Columbus improved to 8-5-0 overall. Halak stopped 58 of 59 shots he faced, posting a 2-0-0 record, a 0.48 goals-against average and .983 save percentage as St. Louis improved to 9-1-2, first overall in the NHL standings.

Stamkos, Thomas, Stewart Named NHL 'Three Stars'

Lightning center Steven Stamkos, Bruins goaltender Tim Thomas and Avalanche right wing Chris Stewart have been named the NHL 'Three Stars' for the month of October. Stamkos led all players in scoring with 19 points (nine goals, 10 assists) in 10 games as the Lightning (7-2-1) finished October with the top record in the Eastern Conference for the first time in franchise history. Thomas won each of his six starts in October, posting a League-leading 0.50 goals-against average, .984 save percentage and three shutouts. Stewart ranked second behind Stamkos in October scoring, posting 16 points (nine goals, seven assists) in 11 games. He also tied for the League lead with three game-winning goals, helping the Avalanche (6-4-1) claim first place in the Northwest Division.
